The story behind GRANDAD’S FARM:
One of my favorite memories from going to Nigeria when I was younger was going to my grandad’s farm.
I remember being there at night and seeing the shadows of all of the trees that seemed massive and towering in the distance. I could see the shadows of our family gathered, talking, eating and drinking. Before he passed away, my grandad planted an orange tree on the farm for me and my sisters.
When my family went home in 2015, almost 20 years after it was planted, we went back to GRANDAD’S FARM and stood shoulder to shoulder beneath the legacy he planted for us.
